Hello friends and fellow plant lovers! I have a few exciting events coming up and I didn’t want to let another day go by without filling all of you in on what’s happening over here.
This Saturday, October 29th, I’ll be boogieing down (if it’s not a verb, it is now, ha!) with the best DJ around, Captain Caliceaux Jack with Yacht Drops. Better known as Blake, he and his wife Erica started Yacht Drops with the desire of offering a boat party experience without the booze…”Alcohol-Free Groove Cruises You’ll Never Forget”. They’ll have some great costume prizes, and if YOU win the BEST COUPLES COSTUME, you’ll get to take home a basket full of EZ Herbs goodies including, a tea, tincture, Rosewater spray, body oil and Lovely Lube! Their maiden voyage, Dance yourself Clean on Halloween, departs this Saturday at 6pm sharp. Tickets are still available here :

Next up is a day in the garden with myself and Caroline Riley Carberry of Mutable Earth Botanicals. We’ll spend a Saturday morning creating plant medicine together from the autumn abundance that is offered from the garden around us. We’ll build a full moon altar, dip mullein torches to use during these longer nights, and create fire cider. Lastly, we will discuss the plants that are found in the food forest and blend a fresh plant tincture unique to your needs and desires. The day will be full of community connections, and you will leave with an abundance of not only knowledge but also plant medicine for your home.

Catch me at the Cultivate Holistic Supply Fall Market on Sunday, November 13th. These markets are a favorite of mine and are always a good time with some of the best local makers around. Join us for a day of herbal spritzers, live music, great folks and smooth vibes. Winston’s Kitchen will be bringing it with delicious authentic Jamaican food, and Curcuma will be offering the yummiest warm golden milk in all of Austin. You can find all the info here. If you miss November, we’ll be back in December as we slide right into the holidays and wrap up the winter market season.
Thank you all for your continued support, and I hope to see some familiar faces at one of these November events. May we all remember the serenity and slowness of nature as we roll into this busy time of year. Look to the plants – they will help remind you.
Big BIG love to you all. Corey Gusnowski
